The Minnesota Ballpark Authority is committed to working with public and private partners to integrate the ballpark with new transit lines and robust private development.
In 2010, the MBA Board pledged $1.5 million to assist in the construction of a new public plaza for the Interchange Project,
which will be located just outside of Target Field's left field gate.
This partnership with Hennepin County underscores the MBA’s continued commitment
to improving pedestrian access, enhancing transit connections, and promoting new development.
